Workshop Series "Experimental Research and Survey Research in English Language Teaching" and "Quantitative Data Analysis using SPSS"

In two days (October 31 and November 2, 2023), the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized two workshop sessions with the following themes: "Experimental Research and Survey Research in English Language Teaching" and "Quantitative Data Analysis Using SPSS."

The workshop series took place during two sessions, with the morning session on October 31, 2023, held in room A0101, and the afternoon session on November 2, 2023, in room B. Over 30 faculty members, from Chinese and English Department, and nearly 20 students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages attended the workshops.

The main speaker for both workshop sessions was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Channarong Intaraprasert, who is currently working at Udon Thani Rajabhat University in Thailand.

With nearly 40 years of experience in researching and teaching English to learners at various levels, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Channarong Intaraprasert emphasized the significance of scientific research in enhancing the expertise of university-level educators. During the two workshop sessions, he shared his experiences and engaged in discussions on various aspects of scientific research with faculty members and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The workshop series was a resounding success, characterized by active and constructive exchanges, providing valuable knowledge and practical experiences. Both faculty members and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages expressed their admiration for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Channarong Intaraprasert's profound academic insights. It is hoped that the valuable knowledge acquired during the two workshop sessions will assist faculty members and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages in effectively improving their professional skills and fulfilling their teaching responsibilities.
