Interviewing skills in Chinese for students majoring in Chinese language

Interview is the last "hurdle" for a candidate to overcome to become a member of an organization. A successful interview necessitates a mix of different skills from communication skills, organizational skills, decision-making skills, to collaborative skills, etc.

On November 12, 2022, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized a talk by Ms. Bing Bing Chao, Head of Southeast Asia Sales Department at Avery Dennison Company in order to facilitate students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University to obtain a career ticket in the 4.0 era, perfect some necessary skills for job interviews, to meet the recruitment needs of enterprises, and to leverage their knowledge and skilled in the Business Mandarin Chinese 3 course. The main focus of this talk was to guide CV writing skills in Chinese and job interviews at businesses in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong. 

In a friendly atmosphere, the guest speaker shared the practical details of various job roles including those of sales staff, customer service staff, KPI-based job performance evaluation, frequently asked questions in interviews ... The guest speaker also shares with students tips of how to make an impressive self-introduction for a successful interview.
