Panel discussion - Preparation for a career path in the 4.0 era

Following the trend of globalization integration, students all need to be equipped with a special toolkit to be able to successfully integrate and develop in the workplace. This toolkit is their understanding of different knowledge areas and disciplines, their well-being, the ability to work and be creative to go beyond personal thresholds, and the much-required soft skills such as communication, and collaborative skills, etc.

On November 12th,2022, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized a CV writing and interview skills training session with Avery Dennison company led by Ms. Bing Bing Chao, Head of Sales Department for Southeast Asia, Ms. Tran Binh Minh, Head of Recruitment Team for Block T, and Ms. Dang Thi Kieu Loan, Manager of Recruitment and Corporate Communications Department in order to facilitate students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University to obtain a career ticket in the 4.0 era, perfecting a number of necessary skills to meet the recruitment needs of businesses. The guest speakers shared hands-on experience with more than 100 senior students majoring in English language and Chinese language.

In a friendly atmosphere, the guest speakers shared the practical details of employers’ job requirements, employers’ CV screening process, and key information that employers focus on when they screen CVs. The guest speakers also shared with students tips of how to write excellent CVs that can attract many employers.
