This program provides graduates with political and moral qualities, academic knowledge, professional skills and etiquette so that they can not only find and solve common problems in specialized fields requiring Chinese use but also meet socio-economic needs in such a new era of globalization. 

There are a range of employment opportunities for graduates. They can work in a various fields such as Commerce, Service, Tourism, Interpretation, Pedagogy and so on
Today there is a huge demand for labour force of high proficiency in Chinese and professional knowledge. Therefore, most of new graduates are able to find satisfactory jobs in Foreign Affair Organizations, International Corporations from China, Taiwan, or companies having commercial relationships with Chinese-speaking enterprises. 
Especially, when Chinese Tourism is on the rise, fresh graduates have great opportunies to work in travel industry. Additionally, students are able to work as language instructors at Universities and Language centers.
Students can join in last-semester internship, apply for 2+2 program in China and 3+1 program in Taiwan.

On completion of the program, students should be able to:
- Obtain a relatively comprehensive understanding in social sciences and humanities that is necessary for a bachelor degree holder; 
- Demonstrate a high level of competence in all four skill areas (listening, speaking, reading, writing); 
- Acquire necessary knowledge and professional skills in Chinese Language Teaching, Psychology and Pedagogy, Commerce and Tourism, Interpretation and Translation.
- Gain great familiarity with study skills and research methods at university level, which should later support students who wish to pursue higher education.
