1. Apply the principles, categories, and laws of dialectics as well as the policies and directives of the Communist Party of Vietnam into teaching practice.
2. Discuss in-depth the fields of linguistics and English language teaching and learning.
3. Demonstrate in-depth research knowledge in the fields of linguistics and English teaching and learning through designing research projects, collecting, and analysing data.
4. Demonstrates good ability to utilise technology; capacity for self-learning, creativity, independent and teamworking skills; critical thinking; and the ability to identify, analyse, resolve, and present issues related to the fields of linguistics and English teaching and learning.
5. Organise effective English teaching and learning activities for learners of different levels and ages.
