In the academic year 2019-2020, the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL) completed writing a self-assessment report (SAR) in accordance with AUN QA criteria for the English Language program that is expected to be accredited in January 2021.
Although the English Language program is referred to the BA’s programs of the universities in the Top 100 in the QS World University Rankings 2014 – 2015, FFL decides to undertake AUN QA assessment to review and standardize all of the program’s aspects including expected learning outcomes, program structure and content, teaching and learning approach, student assessment, academic staff, student support services, facilities and infrastructure, output and outcomes, etc.
AUN-QA Network is established as the ASEAN quality assurance network in higher education. Hence, students studying any AUN QA recognized program easily go on student exchange or transfer their credits to other universities in the region. In addition, graduates from these programs probably have more advantages in finding jobs in regional and international markets.
