Faculty of Arts – Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) paid a working visit to Faculty of Foreign Languages – TDTU
On the afternoon of January 31, 2023, in Meeting Room C, representatives of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand visited and worked directly with the head and lecturers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Ton Duc Thang University. Also at this collaborative meeting, the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Ton Duc Thang University and the Faculty of Arts - Chulalongkorn University signed a cooperation agreement to enhance activities of exchange and cooperation between the two institutions.
The Faculty of Foreign Languages was headed by Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice Dean, together with Heads of Divisions and some lecturers. Chulalongkorn University was represented by Mr. Chotiudompant Suradech, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Ms. Chitrakara Narida, Vice Manager of International Cooperation Department.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong expressed her honor to welcome the visitors at Ton Duc Thang University, stating a willingness to cooperate with the Faculty of Arts - Chulalongkorn University in the fields of English Language and Chinese Language.
The leader of The Faculty of Foreign Languages expressed a trust in enhanced cooperation in training and research for the two sides.
Representative of Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Chotiudompant Suradech thanked the Faculty of Foreign Languages for the warm welcome. He also hoped that the Faculty of Foreign Languages would create favorable conditions for research cooperation and student exchange, and other forms of scientific, educational and cultural cooperation between the two institutions. Mr. Chotiudompant Suradech also gave a brief introduction about Chulalongkorn University and the Faculty of Arts.
Following the meeting session, the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Ton Duc Thang University and the Faculty of Arts - Chulalongkorn University, Thailand signed a cooperation agreement to further strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the two parties in the future.
Chulalongkorn University, founded in 1917, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Thailand, and is also considered one of the leading educational institutions in the region. According to World University Rankings data published in 2021, Chulalongkorn University ranks 96th globally and 1st in Thailand in terms of academic reputation. The University currently has 20 faculties, 23 colleges and research institutes with 8,138 lecturers, 37,626 students, including 26,202 undergraduate students, 10,656 postgraduate students.
