Dr. Raqib Chowdhury shared his useful knowledge regarding qualitative research, which is as important as the quantitative ones. Moreover, the participants were introduced the differences between theory and practice as well as difficulties and challenges in conducting qualitative research.
Following that, the participants were also provided with experience applying for scholarships. Hopefully, students and lecturers can grasp the essentials to win the scholarships of Monash University in particular and other Australian universities in general, and thus they can have more opportunities for personal development as well as contribute to society with extremely useful research.
At the end of Dr. Raqib Chowdhury's presentation, the participants had opportunities to ask questions about the scholarship application process. The questions raised were clearly answered by Dr. Raqib Chowdhury to help students and lecturers identify the essentials as well as their strengths for application for scholarships to Monash University as well as other universities in Australia.
