Contest announcement – "FFL HERE WE GO"

1. DETAILED INFORMATION:

- Contest’s purpose: Create a video of 4-5 minutes in English introducing the city where you live and study.
- Participants: Students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ton Duc Thang University (Tan Phong Campus and Khanh Hoa Branch).
- Language: English
- Time frame: From October 1, 2024 to December 8, 2024.
- Format: Online submission.

2. PRELIMINARY AND FINAL ROUNDS: 

2.1: PRELIMINARY ROUND: October 1, 2024 – November 18, 2024.

- Rules and Guidelines:
•    Students build teams of 4-5 members to create a 4–5-minute video on the theme “City in Motion”.
•    Free choices of video formats: review, interview, presentation, parody, Vlog, etc.
•    English subtitles must be included.
•    Upload the video to YouTube or Google Drive and submit the video link via the registration form: https://forms.gle/wCPABMPd1D3JgBpL8 (or scan the QR code).
•    The top 10 videos selected by judges will enter the final round.

2.2: FINAL ROUND: From November 19, 2024 to December 8, 2024

- Rules and Guidelines:
•    The top 10 videos from the Preliminary round will be posted on the Fanpage of Faculty of Foreign Languages.
•    Final scores will be based on both the Judges’ scores (50%) and Public Votes (50%)
•    Voting rules: 1 Heart reaction = 1 point, 1 Share = 3 points. 
- Only votes that follow these steps will be valid:

• Like the Faculty of Foreign Languages’ Facebook page. 
• Share the contest post publicly on your timeline.

3. RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT DEADLINE: December 8, 2024

4. PRIZES:

- One 1st Prize: 1,000,000 VND + Certificate + Activity Recognition
- One 2nd Prize: 700,000 VND + Certificate + Activity Recognition
- One 3rd Prize: 500,000 VND + Certificate + Activity Recognition
- Five Consolation Prizes: 300,000 VND + Certificate + Activity Recognition
