The Finale of the 2024 Contest "Learning Chinese Language and Culture-Season VIII"

On the evening of April 6, 2024, the Finale of the 2024 Contest "Learning Chinese Language and Culture - Season VIII" was successfully held at Hall 6B - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). This series of events has served as a useful and interesting playground for students who are passionate about Chinese language and culture. 

It was our great honor to welcome Mr. Tu Chau - Deputy Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Vuong Han Nhien – Consul, and the main sponsor of the Contest, Mr. Dong Chi Phu - General Director of Thien Binh Energy Company Limited at the events. Distinguished guests from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ton Duc Thang University included Dr. Nguyen Hoa Binh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Dr. Ho Tam Dan, Head of Hanle Chinese Club, along with other Chinese language lecturers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The Contest “Learning Chinese Language and Culture” is an annual activity organized by the Hanle Chinese Club of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ton Duc Thang University to create favorable conditions for Chinese Language students to explore, learn and develop the ability to use Chinese language.

The Finale was an opportunity for the Top 9 contestants to freely express their passion for Chinese, as well as an opportunity for contestants and members of the Hanle Chinese Club to express their artistic talent with extremely unique musical and theater performances, imbued with a strong sense of Chinese culture.

After going through two main rounds of competitions, namely the public speaking contest and the knowledge contest, the Top 9 contestants confidently shone at the Finale, and the Judging Panel successfully named the Champion for this competition.

• Second prize: Bui Thi Anh Thu
• Third prize: Pham Thi Ngoc Mai
• Talented contestant: Nguyen Song Phi Long
