Internship at TDTU for students of Kasetsart University (KU) - Thailand

From April 5, 2024 to May 7, 2024, Faculty of Foreign Languages - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a program "Internship at TDTU 2024" for six students from Kasetsart University (KU), Thailand.

This is one of the key activities regarding international exchange and cooperation organized by the Faculty of Foreign Languages in the academic year 2023 - 2024 to create opportunities for faculty students to exchange and make friends with international students. It also offers international students a chance to immerse themselves in the environment at TDTU, thereby promoting the image of Ton Duc Thang University and Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS). 

Over more than a month, six international students from various academic programs at Kasetsart University engaged in an enriching study experience at TDTU. During their time there, they gained valuable knowledge spanning multiple disciplines. The students actively participated in a series of international workshops hosted by the Faculty of Foreign Languages, which explored "Perspectives on English Language Education Progress". They also attended English, Vietnamese, and Sports courses taught by lecturers from Faculty of Foreign Languages and Faculty of Sports Science. Beyond the classroom, the international students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture. They learned to prepare authentic Vietnamese street food and took part in team-building activities organized by the English Club and Music Club of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. To further expose the students to Vietnam's vibrant cultural heritage, the Faculty arranged visits to renowned attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, including the Cu Chi Tunnels, Ao Dai Museum, Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater, and Saigon Waterbus Pier, among other engaging experiences.

The internship at TDTU in 2024 provides Kasetsart University students with a valuable opportunity to immerse themselves in both academic studies and cultural experiences at the Vietnamese institution. Their meaningful experience has cultivated motivation and belief in the stronger development of international cooperation and exchange programs in the coming years, creating a diverse and dynamic learning environment for all students studying at the Faculty.
