Outstanding TDTU Foreign Language Student Wins Second Prize at the 2nd Vietnam-China Cultural Arts Festival for Universities in the Southern Region, 2024

Lai Thi Mai Huong, a third-year student majoring in Mandarin Chinese Language at the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), excellently won the Second Prize in the Singing category at the 2nd Vietnam-China Cultural Arts Festival for Universities in the Southern Region, 2024, which took place on May 17, 2024, at the University of Economics and Finance (UEF) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Final Round of the Festival gathered 20 performances from 15 universities and colleges in the Southern region, providing a beneficial playground for students passionate about Chinese culture and language. The Vietnam-China Cultural Arts Festival is an artistic event imbued with the unique cultural identity of China, co-organized by the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Economics and Finance (UEF) in Ho Chi Minh City to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2024), contributing to creating a bridge for exchange, learning, and connecting students studying Chinese language and young people passionate about Chinese culture and art.

With her talent and effort, student Lai Thi Mai Huong conquered the judges and the audience with her impressive performance of "Quing Hua Porcelain", excellently demonstrating her performance skills, costume, and stage, contributing to spreading the values of Vietnamese-Chinese culture in an attractive way.

Mai Huong's achievement is the pride of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Ton Duc Thang University. Congratulations to Mai Huong and the collective of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
