Workshop “Start-up and Survival” – Entrepreneurship and Resilience

On the morning of November 9, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University’s Faculty of Foreign Languages held the workshop “Start-up and Survival” at Room A0101, Tan Phong Campus. Aiming to provide an authentic perspective on the entrepreneurial journey, the workshop attracted a large number of students eager to gain essential skills for thriving in a challenging business environment.

The speaker, Ms. Nguyen Kim Ngan, Founder and CEO of English House Language Centre, inspired the audience with her extensive experience in building and sustaining a successful education enterprise. Ms. Ngan shared valuable insights into overcoming obstacles and the critical factors for resilience and growth in this field.

During the two-hour session, she ignited students' entrepreneurial passion through practical lessons and real-world experiences. This invaluable opportunity not only encouraged creative thinking and problem-solving but also provided a foundation for students to confidently seize entrepreneurial opportunities. Through a lively Q&A session, Ms. Ngan delved into her start-up journey, sharing strategies for building a reputable personal brand and offering valuable knowledge that resonated deeply with students.

The workshop concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression and inspiring final-year English majors on their journey toward knowledge and career aspirations. The Faculty of Foreign Languages hopes to continue hosting impactful events like this, fostering students’ comprehensive development and preparing them for success in their careers.
