The Internship and Cultural Exchange Program for Students from Kasetsart University (Thailand) Concludes Successfully

From March 17 to April 20, 2025, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully organized the “2025 Internship and Cultural Exchange Program at TDTU” for nine international students from Kasetsart University (KU), Thailand.

This program was one of the key activities in international exchange and cooperation organized by the Faculty of Foreign Languages during the academic year of 2024–2025. It aimed to create opportunities for TDTU students to engage and build relationships with international peers, while also offering international students a chance to experience the academic environment at TDTU. Additionally, it served as a means to promote the image of Ton Duc Thang University and the Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS) to global partners.

On April 20, 2025, the program concluded with many fond memories, joyful smiles, and unforgettable experiences. During the time studying at TDTU, the students from Kasetsart University gained a wealth of knowledge across various areas. They participated in:

• TDTU Open Day 2025
• The Final Round of the FFL Debating Championships Season 4 organized by the Faculty of Foreign Languages
• English and Vietnamese language classes to develop basic communication skills
• Class observation activities at VFIS to gain inclusive teaching strategies in a multicultural classroom
• Hands-on sessions in preparing Vietnamese dishes
• Team-building activities, sports, and cultural exchanges with the Ambassador of Creative English and the Club of Artistic Talents of the Faculty

To further promote the beauty and culture of Vietnam to international students, the Faculty of Foreign Languages also organized several sightseeing trips to famous landmarks and attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, such as The Independence Palace, The Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Ton Duc Thang Museum, Ben Thanh Market, Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre, Saigon Waterbus at Bach Dang Pier, and other exciting and memorable experiences. 

The 2025 Internship and Cultural Exchange Program at TDTU also offered Thai students a meaningful period of study and daily life at TDTU and in Vietnam. Their experiences have served as motivation and affirmation for TDTU Faculty of Foreign Languages to continue developing future international exchange and cooperation programs, with the goal of creating a dynamic, diverse, and highly international academic environment for all students.

The Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) looks forward to expanding the collaboration with more universities worldwide in cultural exchange and academic activities in the future.
