TDTU students explore Chinese Business etiquette with industry expert

Ho Chi Minh City, October 18, 2025 — The Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted an enriching seminar titled “Business Etiquette Through the Lens of Chinese Culture”, offering third- and fourth-year students majoring in Chinese Language a unique opportunity to explore professional customs rooted in Chinese tradition. The session featured guest speaker Mr. Li Peng Cheng, Deputy Director of Recruitment at Jinyu (Vietnam) Tire Co., Ltd.

In the event, Mr. Li provided an engaging presentation on Chinese communication styles and workplace etiquette. His talk covered essential cultural practices such as hierarchical seating arrangements, banquet protocols, and traditional toasting customs—equipping students with practical knowledge for cross-cultural business interactions. 

Beyond etiquette, Mr. Li also emphasized the importance of career readiness, offering actionable advice on professional development and strategies for thriving in a competitive job market. 

The seminar was praised as an engaging and necessary learning opportunity, significantly enhancing the students’ understanding of Chinese business culture and developing the professional skills required to thrive in global environment.
