From April 7th to April 20th, 2025, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is collaborating with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issra Pramoolsook from Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Thailand, to organize a series of workshops exclusively for the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. This is one of the key academic research activities aimed at sharing academic and research resources, thereby enhancing professional knowledge and research skills for lecturers and students in the academic year 2024–2025.

The workshop series consists of three main sessions. The first workshop took place at 8:00 AM on April 8th, 2025, in meeting room A403, with the theme “Brit Vibes: Exploring UK Culture.” This session is designed for junior students majoring in English Language, focusing on the rich cultural heritage and traditional artistic values of the United Kingdom — a nation widely regarded as a cradle of global culture. Moreover, the second workshop, titled “Issues in Academic Writing,” is scheduled for 8:00 AM on April 15th, 2025, also in meeting room A403. This session targets third- and fourth-year English Language majors currently enrolled in Action Research or working on their graduation theses. Finally, the third workshop is exclusively for lecturers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, themed “Issues in Genre and Academic Writing Research.” It will be held at 1:00 PM on April 11th, 2025, in meeting room B.

During his stay in Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issra Pramoolsook will also participate in classes such as British Culture and Advanced Writing, provide research consultations to faculty members and students working on graduation theses, and take part in various community activities organized by the university and faculty.

Assoc.
